Your trainer uses your wellness profiles (and your data) as a decision making tool. However, if you would like to explore your data as well, please review the following resources:

  • The Learning Space: This library was designed to serve as an educational tool for individuals interested in reviewing the scientific evidence behind each tool or metric.

I Have a Health Condition. Is Fitnescity a Good Fit?

WHAT IF I HAVE AN EXISTING HEALTH CONDITION?

You will be matched with a coach who specializes in your condition: Injury. Surgery. Chronic Condition. Pre-Postnatal. Senior.

DOES FITNESCITY OFFER MEDICAL ADVICE?

No, Fitnescity does not offer medical advice. However, you are free to download your data (i.e. your wellness profile) and take it to your doctor.

Always consult with a healthcare professional. Fitnescity's assessments do not diagnose any health conditions or provide medical advice.

How Does the Waitlist Work?

IS FITNESCITY OPEN TO EVERYONE?

We aim to offer an exceptional experience to our clients, and we treat every individual as a unique case. As a result, we are not able to accept all requests at this time. Sign up for the waitlist to learn more. 

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO GET STARTED?

Our next group of clients will be starting on May 1st, 2017. Clients are added on a rolling basis. You will be notified as soon as a spot becomes available. Waitlist "perks" include 3D body Scanning.

If the waitlist does not move up by this date, you will be placed on the next available list: June 1st, 2017. 

Can I Choose My Personal Trainer?

WHO WILL BE MY TRAINER?

You will be assigned a seasoned coach (Master's, PhD). You will meet your coach about three times a week for private training.

Nutrition, sleep and stress management are also part of your on-going coaching, and are typically completed online.

WHAT IF I HAVE AN EXISTING HEALTH CONDITION?

You will be matched with a coach who specializes in your condition: e.g. Injury. Surgery. Chronic Condition. Postnatal. Senior.

WHAT IF I WANT TO SELECT MY OWN PERSONAL TRAINER?

You will be provided with a list of Fitnescity trainers that are available in your ZIP code. 

How Often Do I Meet My Personal Trainer?

DO I MEET MY COACH IN PERSON? IS THE COACH A PRIVATE TRAINER?

Yes, you will meet your coach in-person about three times a week for private training.

Nutrition, sleep and stress management are also part of your on-going coaching, and are typically completed online.

DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO A 16-WEEK PROGRAM? 

Yes, the 16-week commitment is a pre-requisite. Our program aims at creating measurable outcomes for our clients, and we do not offer stand-alone, one-time sessions.
