Description: Fitnescity's signature "Wellness Profile" includes a wide variety of tools that aims at helping the client and the coach make sense of wellness data. For instance, this "3D fitness tracking" tool, which uses 3D body scanning, is designed to help the client visualize how their body is changing with exercise and diet. The tool also provides the client and the coach with body measurements, as well as a heat map of where the individual gained or lost weight. Learn more.
- Fitnescity uses a combination of connected devices and assessments to create a comprehensive view of the individual's wellness. Fitnescity also matches the client a coach, who helps implement lifestyle changes in a 16-week program. The client meets the coach for in-person sessions about three times per week.
- Fitnescity integrates physiological measurements such as body composition, weight, metabolism, heart rate, blood pressure, body shape and posture with lifestyle data on nutrition, sleep patterns and stress levels. The company combines those assessment data with medical history and health risks.
Fitness training, nutrition counseling, sleep monitoring and stress reduction are all part of the 16-week coaching program. The service targets both the general population and individuals with special conditions such as diabetes or injuries.
- At the end of the 16-week program, the client receives a comprehensive view of the program's impact on their wellness.
Eighty percent of some of the most common and costly health conditions could be prevented through lifestyle changes. While digital health devices generate revenues of $15B, they have yet to create meaningful outcomes. For instance, consumer research shows that one out of two users abandons their wearable device within six months.
