For most people, the benefit outweighs the small risk, especially if you have risk factors for heart disease.
Although Calcium Score test is painless and noninvasive it’s not suitable for everyone. It is not recommended for most people under the age of 40 or over 75 years old. The test isn’t suitable for pregnant women and people who are unable to stay still for 10 to 15 minutes.
